👋 Hi, I’m JA Juatco.
Check out my projects below:
Showcasing my dedication to motion graphics including 3D rendering, I mostly handle projects from concept to completion. I’ve had the privilege of creating work for clients such as Coldplay, Manchester City, and Formula 1.
Designing logos and crafting brand identities is something I truly enjoy. I’m particularly drawn to creating detailed, emblem-style logos for sports and gaming, always grounded in principles like grids, color theory, and typography etc.
I created an animation for Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park with the goal of standing out among major brand advertisers during Premier League matches. Using the screen’s wide format and it’s limited time space, I designed a smooth edge-to-edge flow that kept attention in a busy, high-energy environment.
I had the opportunity to design the LED show for The Phantom of the Opera to promote its run at the Dubai Opera. The goal was to create a visual experience that worked on the world’s tallest “screen.”
In 2014, I created the candy assets for Big Fish Games’ Gummy Drop, which has since surpassed 10 million downloads. The goal was to design gummies that stood out from other match-3 games, making them visually appealing and satisfying to play with.
During the pandemic, I took the opportunity to work on a side project that helps content creators establish a strong online presence for themselves or their businesses.
Despite limited activity this year, I was able to grow the project’s Facebook group community to over 24,000 members and Tiktok account to over 31,000 followers. The website and its resources remain active and useful for anyone looking to improve their online presence.
I designed an internal department logo for Alkermes, a Dublin-based pharmaceutical company. Guided by the keywords expertise, operations, and effectiveness, I created a clean, grid-based design using a simple typeface. The result: a logo that’s balanced, modern, and true to the company’s values.
I created a concept UI for Formula 1 TV in collaboration with Streamlayer, exploring ways to enhance the viewing experience. The design focused on a clean, intuitive layout that lets fans switch between multiple live camera angles and select drivers with ease. Using Figma, Illustrator, and Protopie, I built a dynamic mockup to showcase the feature’s potential.
